Company

Metlen Energy & Metals  is a global company operating in the Energy and Metals sectors. It strategically positions itself at the forefront of the energy transition as an integrated utility and is already recognized as a reference point for competitive green metallurgy on both a European and global scale.  Metlen's history traces back to the early 20th century. In 1908, the small metallurgical industry MYTILINEOS operated in Piraeus as a rapidly growing family business. In 1990, the MYTILINEOS Group was established, evolving from the historic metallurgical company, and in 2017 it transformed into a new, unified corporate entity, MYTILINEOS.  Today, Metlen has built a strong international presence, operating in over 30 countries across all five continents, with more than 5,442 direct and indirect employees in Greece and abroad.

Objective

The main objective was to communicate Metlen's global presence and central role in the energy and metals sectors. The stand needed to adopt a welcoming and innovative approach to engage visitors, conveying a message of global connectivity and a concrete commitment to sustainability.  The stand had to reflect the company's identity not only as an industrial leader but also as a promoter of innovation and sustainability. It was essential to design a space that was welcoming and engaging, able to capture visitors' attention and encourage active participation.

Solutions

The project emerged from collaboration with  Brave, responsible for the concept, and UrbanDeco, which handled architectural development. We at Manaly managed the technical aspects, production, and logistics. The structure features soft, enveloping curves that evoke a sense of welcome, like an embrace, symbolizing the brand’s global connection.  Upon entry, attention is immediately drawn to a suspended element displaying the logo, followed just below by a suspended globe. The world map motif recurs throughout the stand, highlighting the client’s international footprint.  Every detail, from the circular metal framework defining the space to the graphic elements on the floor, is designed to facilitate interaction and movement. On the left, a plant-decorated divider adds a natural touch, while at the center, a reception desk with the logo invites visitors in. To the right, a large curved ledwall enhances the visual and technological experience of the space. Materials such as warm, refined walnut wood complement technological elements, creating an elegant, contemporary atmosphere.
